Ayrshire Special Games Charity Ball 7th May 2005

The first Ayrshire Special Games charity ball was held on Saturday 7 May 2005, at the Princess Royal Suite, Ayr Racecourse. Some 250 guests from a wide cross-section of the Ayrshire community attended and supported this event. Local comedian Dean Park acted as MC for the evening. The evening was highlighted by auctions, raffles and dancing to Pure Crystal. As a result of the success of this first ball, the ASG trust can plan a more ambitious programme to promote sporting opportunities for children and young people with a disability. The second annual ball will be held in the beginning of May 2006.
